How do I find a quality HD antenna?

Question:
First off, thanks for all the info you have given on the site- it helps clear up more than a few questions. Now for my question- we just bought a Sony Bravia 40" plasma with built in HD tuner. We want to receive our local channels in digital and HD when broadcast. We are now on our 2nd attempt at a decent HD indoor antenna. Apparently, not all antennas are created equal- the first one only picked up about 5 channels and the second isn't getting a great signal on the 8 channels it does get. (one was the Philips digital PHDTV3 and I don't remember what the other was) I know you probably aren't "allowed" to suggest a specific antenna- but could you PLEASE at least point me in a good direction? I'm getting tired of shelling out $50+ bucks only to be in the returns lane the next day. There has got to be a good solution out there...

The best way to figure out the antenna for your house is to visit http://www.antennaweb.org Put in your address and find out what they recommend. I cannot recommend a specific antenna, but I would suggest you visit http://www.antennasdirect.com and browse for the type of antenna that was recommended for your location.
